In an attempt to force myself to do some writing, a friend and I started a challenge that we, based on a more or less random word or expression, should create something (not necessarily anything of semi-literary nature, but that’s what’s closest at hand for me) in a short allotted time frame (a couple of days).
First — and absolutely true to form — I went about writing a script that administers the selection of the semi-random words (by way of Wordnik, find it here), and in an astonishingly unprecedented display of… I don’t know… self-discipline? I managed to actually act on it, not just drop it after I had procrastinated around for a bit. The result was a short and hopefully funny piece of science-fiction, written in just two days (which probably shows…), which you can find here. (Sorry, Swedish only!)
