Leo is, in my opinion, fantastic at writing protest songs, and those who know me know that I am more than willing to sing them, but neither of us has any competence in playing instruments or recording beyond the basics of  “press this key to make a sound/begin recording”. These comrades do:

Röda Björn

A short song that I wrote ages ago about Bamse, the world’s friendliest and strongest bear. At one point, he was accused of being a communist, since he is very friendly and egalitarian, and always on the side of he oppressed. This was meant as an insult by whoever said it, but since I regard being associated with the left rather as the hallmark of goodness and solidaritarianism, even though nowadays I wouldn’t call myself a communist (at least not without a prefix), I composed this song to present Bamse as a socialist ideal. Sort of.
